Batik is a traditional cloth from Indonesia. Although different islands have their own style of batik, one of the most famous ones is from Java Island, specifically from a region/city called Yogyakarta. Different batik pattern has different meanings. Some batiks are created hand-drawn while some are created machine-printed. A batik maker must have the patience and skill to create a handmade batik. On the other hand, machine-printed batik can be efficiently mass produced.
Creating a handmade batik is like creating a financial plan. We believe that each financial plan is a unique plan. A financial plan for one family is different than a plan for another family. We take our time to listen and understand your challenges. Then, we draw up a plan along with potential solutions.
While batik might only be worn by the royal families centuries ago, that is not the case today. We believe that batik is for everyone to wear, whether you are an Indonesian or a non-Indonesian, or whether you are a commoner or a part of royal family.
